Guns of the Wasteland Series by Leverett Butts

Guns of the Waste Land recasts the legends of King Arthur as an American Western.

Set in the late 19th century outside the West Texas town of Bretton, this first volume tells the story of four men wandering the American desert: Percy Murratt leaves his home to find Sheriff Ardiss Drake and learn more about the kind of man his father was. Meanwhile, two of Ardiss' deputies, Gary Wayne Orkney and his best friend Boris McAllister, scour the wilderness in pursuit of vengeance and justice while the object of their search, Lancaster O'Loch flees for his life and that of his mistress (and Ardiss' wife), Guernica. Together these three tales begin an adventure of chivalry and honor as exciting as it is timeless.

International Acclaim by Michael Lawson

International Acclaim is the fictional story of the Steinfeld family. Spanning four generations of brilliant Polish Jewish Concert Pianists—from 1850 to 1965—it connects the listener with the international classical music scene, real people, places, and historical events. Set in Poland, Moscow, the US, and London, it is an emotionally charged story of family, tradition, and survival.

Carter’s Commandos Series by Robert Cubitt

There’s an old saying in the Army, "Never volunteer for anything". It has been said many times, so why on Earth did Steven Carter ignore it?

After volunteering for the Army Commandos, Carter finds himself cut off in enemy occupied Norway. It’s winter, it’s cold and the enemy are hunting for him. Can he survive against all these odds? Even if the Germans don’t capture him, can he find a way back to England?

This novel is based on several true life events. It is based on the experiences of real people; real heroes. If you want to hear about people who would sacrifice themselves so that others can sleep safe at night, Operation Absolom, the first book in the Carter’s Commandos series, is just the one for you.

The Whale Who Felt A Little Blue by Isla Wynter

Some days, Luka the blue whale doesn't feel happy at all. He gets angry, he's sad, he cries until the ocean is salty.

His friend Jenny wants to help Luka, but how?

Luckily, a wise mermaid might know what to do....

This story gently introduces children to the symptoms of depression and gives advice on how to help others who are feeling blue. This is a book not just for children.
